The Hatchling

Kian arrived yesterday at 10:59 a.m. Like his sister five years ago, he was reluctant to leave the womb. The Doctor held him over the curtain so that I could see him and he stayed in the O.R. with us for a long time--Chas brought him over to me frequently. He weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces so I guess I'm sort of relieved I didn't actually do a VBAC.

I could babble on about it, but Angie has just returned with my Mom and Chas is running out to get food.
